L.A. Tour Re-Cap!

Once again, I’ve been too busy to update the site consistently.. I’m trying my best, but when you are on the go as much as me, it’s often difficult to find a couple hours of free time to sit down and do this. No excuses though, here is the recap of my LA trip from April 24-27. Myself & my MC, Sir Lancelot flew out to rock a couple spots in Hollywood.. Pictures after the jump.

We left Toronto early Thursday Morning.. 6 am and we were off.. As soon as we touched down in LA, we linked with the homey DJ Mike Danger, and hit the junk food spots to grab some lunch.. ‘Carl’s Junior’ was first on the menu.. Not bad at all!

..En route to LAX

..Carl’s Junior.. 7/10

After filling our belly, we drove out to Orange County, to pay a visit to my sponsor Orisue. Big shouts to the entire Orisue Team, they linked us with a bunch of gear and giveaways for ourselves as well as the party Friday Night at Cabana Club.. Their fall line is looking bananas, make sure to keep an eye out for them making moves as usual!

..Good looking out on the gear!

Chilled out for the rest of Thursday afternoon and since we were DJ’ing Friday & Saturday we went out Thursday Night to ‘Kress’ - a rooftop patio in the heart of Hollywood, to celebrate Mike Danger’s Birthday.

..Kress

Friday.. I finally got to try the infamous ‘Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles’ for lunch, then went to the strip & did some shopping (Flight Club, Supreme, HUF, Turntable Lab, etc), and just chilled out for the rest of the day, until we had to go to Cabana Club later that night. They hooked DJ Mike Danger & I up with a dope 4 turntable setup, so that was fun, and the Orisue peoples came through to kick it as well..

..Roscoe’s!

Saturday, we ate lunch at my new favourite Taco spot, ‘Skye Tacos’ - highly recommended to anyone in the area.. Later that afternoon we made a last minute trip down to Venice Beach before heading to IVAR later that night!

..Sunny afternoon in Hollywood

..This house reminds me of ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’

Sunday, was our last day… Didn’t do much.. Went downtown & I decided to cop a Mexican Wrestling Mask, avoided the ever so tempting bacon-wrapped-hot dogs (my girl emailed me 2 hours before warning me of the swine flu), made sure to stop by Village Pizzeria in Larchmont, and then jeopardized catching our flight back to TO, in the same of eating In & Out burger (yeah, a real fat boy flex.. I know). Thankfully, we made our flight with 10 mins to spare, but after all the crap we just ate, not sure if that was such a good idea for the person sitting next to me. I apologize to whomever you are, ahhaa.

..Downtown LA

..So many choices?

..I decided this would be it!

.. Which of the next two pics are creepier??

..No swine flu for me. I’ll wait for Village Pizzeria.

..Mango with salt and spices was proper, though.

..the homie DJ Beatnick acting a fool

…?

.. Why is this not in Canada?

..Don’t know about this.. DMR has 8 barbers, and there is still a wait!

.. Finally made it. Village Pizzeria is the truth. Remember I told you.

..Running late to catch our flight back to Toronto

..But, we had to stop at In & Out before we jumped on the plane!

..Made it back to LAX just in time..! We should be back in July for a huge West Coast Tour.. Details soon!
Big thanks to everyone for all their hospitality!!

Check in with you guys soon..
PEACE!
