A genuine love & passion for all genres of music has allowed Toronto based DJ Wristpect to remain extremely versatile in his endeavors, consistently captivating worldwide audiences along the way. Focused on bringing quality music to the masses, Wristpect has played a-list events at world-renown venues, released award-winning collaborations, and has worked alongside some of today’s most influential music, lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment brands.
Technical skill, paired with the innate ability to understand and cater to a wide range of demographics has solidified Wristpect as one of North America’s finest open-format party rockers. Over the past five years, he has played several nightclubs, concerts, product launches, and high-profile private events alongside and for the likes of Eminem, DJ AM, Rihanna, LMFAO, Lady Gaga, Usher, Mary J Blige, Busta Rhymes, Jazzy Jeff, Drake, Nas, Young Money, Ludacris, The Clipse, Oasis, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Samuel L Jackson, Steve Aoki, Lebron James, Kim Kardashian, Adidas, Blackberry, Toronto International Film Festival, Google, Sony-Ericsson, Hennessy, MTV, Moet, Belvedere, and Playboy – just to name a few.

Wristpect’s sets are always custom-tailored to the function and audience at hand. Showing off diversity and depth, his eclectic and high energy selection has been known to contain everything from classic and current house, dance, hip hop, electro and old school to r&b, rock, reggae, dubstep, 70s, 80s, 90s and current hits – all tastefully blended and remixed together on the spot.
Beyond his live performances, mixtapes and dedicated podcast listenership, Wristpect built a loyal following via commercial radio on Toronto’s FLOW 93.5 FM [Mixology Show Saturday Nights 9-10pm]. He has also lectured & performed at university ‘music & pop culture’ courses and was a featured instructor at Canada’s only DJ School, ‘Scratchlab DJ Institute’.
Wristpect’s talent, dedication, and hard work to his craft have not gone unrecognized; he was recently awarded Fan Choice DJ of the Year (presented by Pioneer DJ), as well as Toronto DJ of the Year (presented by Blackberry) at the 2011 Stylus DJ Awards. Over the past two years, he has also received accolades such as ‘Canadian Club DJ of the Year’, ‘Toronto DJ of the Year’, and ‘Mixtape of the Year’.
Continuing to build his brand, this young DJ/Entrepreneur remains driven by the desire to share his passion for music of all genres with individuals and audiences worldwide.
