Quick re-cap of my last West Coast Tour (Los Angeles, California).

On May 20 - 24, I was out in LA playing some dates in Hollywood w/ my dude Sir Lancelot. We were at Cabana Club on Thurs, Beachwood Fri, Marbella Sat, and Empire on Sunday! Big shouts out to the man DJ Mike Danger for everything as usual - he is that dude! Between the club gigs, we connected with DJ Skee at his studios, caught up with the homies at Orisue, went by Mad Lion’s studio, did some shopping and ate a lot of food.. In the next 21 hours, I need to wrap up a mixtape, pack, play a gig in Hamilton, play a party in Niagara, and then head straight to YYZ [Toronto Pearson Airport] to catch a flight to San Jose, Costa Rica via Charolette.  I need to be at the airport in Toronto for 4am on Friday morning, and it’s now 7am on Thursday morning.. I swear I’ve lost all sense of time these days. Oh well, on to the next one…

I’ll be able to get some rest when I get into Costa Rica on Friday; the hotel we’re staying at definitely looks relaxing.. The whole reason I’m there is for ‘Electro Fest’ - a huge event in San Jose which features Bands & DJs from around the world [France, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, etc]. I’ll be DJ’ing for ‘Let’s Go To War’ and probably playing a set later on as the party goes till 8am.

I’ll get to chill out and enjoy the Country on Sunday and hopefully get to check out some beaches and rain forests.

I’ll be back in Toronto late Monday Night/Tuesday Morning, and will drop the Clipse Mixtape on Tuesday evening, before leaving for a 7 day West Coast Canada Tour on Wednesday, December 2nd..

So, as some of you may or may not know, at the beginning of the month I went out to China to play a couple of parties.  It was definitely a good experience, despite being such a short trip! I was in Hong Kong & Shanghai & I’m looking forward to heading back soon, and going to more cities and spending some real time out in Asia!

My experience pretty much went as follows: I left Toronto Thursday morning, landed in Hong Kong Friday evening, checked in to the hotel/showered, went out to dinner with DJ Doze & management at M1NT Hong Kong, headed to the club, DJ’d my set 1230-3, slept a few hours, headed to HK airport, flew to Shanghai on Saturday, checked in & showered, had another amazing dinner, rocked M1NT Shanghai w/ DJ Choyce Kutz, took a 3 hour nap, had some quick breakfast on Sunday morning, then left Shanghai, flew 15 hours back to Toronto, headed home to change/shower, then drove to Niagara Falls, and DJ’d another party there at Dragonfly on Sunday Night..!

It was an experience to say the least. No time for shopping.. In fact, no time for anything - not even authentic Chinese food It’s all good.. I’ll be back!

I will be in NYC on October 6th for a corporate event for Google. The party only goes till midnight, so you can bet I’m hitting the studio with Kev right after!

So.. I’m making a quick mission to Asia for the weekend.. Gonna be a long few days ahead, but should be fun & I’m excited to check out the clubs in Hong Kong & Shanghai..! I fly out Thurs morning from Toronto & get to Hong Kong Friday evening.  A few hours downtime, and then I’m at M1NT Nightclub in Hong Kong Friday Night.  Unfortunately, I won’t really have time to take in Hong Kong & actually see the city.  Saturday afternoon, I fly from Hong Kong to Shanghai - same drill.. chill out for a few hours & then rock M1NT Nightclub in Shanghai on Saturday Night! Sunday afternoon I fly back to Toronto, and land back at YYZ around Midnight Sunday Night.. Going to take lots of pics & video, time to try out this Flip Cam and see if they are really worth the hype.. Will keep you guys posted! Peace!

It’s about that time of year again - Caribana 2009..! 1,000,000+ visitors coming to Toronto from all over the world, a lot of parties, the largest street festival in North America, and a convergence of colours and cultures… What does this mean for me? That’s all I really have to say. We about to ‘get em Rich!

Right after Octopus Lounge, I’ll be heading back West to my Thursday Night Residency at Body English [Dixie & Eglinton Rd, Mississauga]

Friday - July 31 - ‘Plush Fridays’ at Lobby w/ Special Guests Chris Bosh [Toronto Raptors], DJ P Plus & More
This is one of my new Friday Night residencies.. I am here about 2 weeks out of a month.  It is a very nice and upscale supper club in the heart of Toronto’s Yorkville district [Bay & Bloor St].  Jay-Z celebrated his bachelor party here, and it caters to an older and more sophisticated crowd.  This Friday we have guests Wayne Warner & Chris Bosh throwing an event alongside our regular Friday Night. Guest DJ, P-Plus will be in the building as well. Very Limited Capacity.

Saturday - August 1 - Caribana Parade 2009 - Roc-A-Wear Float ++
Saturday - August 1 - Spin Saturdays inside The Drink [Guvernment Entertainment Complex]
After a long day at the parade (I’ll be on the Rocawear Float), I’ll be holding down my Saturday Night residency inside The Drink at Guvernment alongside DJ Tilt & Sir Lancelot.

Sunday - August 2 - 9th Annual BET/Hot 97 Party hosted by Ron Brownz & Serani
Way too many details to list for this one.. Basically 6000+ people, sold out 9 years in a row. The biggest Sunday Night Party each year.. I’ll be on the 23+ Skybar Rooftop Patio which Serani will be hosting - tickets are almost sold out I believe you can get some still - get in touch if you need any.

Monday - August 3 - 3rd Annual ‘Change Clothes’ BBQ & Patio Party at MINK Nightclub
More of a social gathering/chill out event and BBQ after all the clubs. Details below.

Tuesday - August 4 - ‘Industry Tuesdays’ inside Dragonfly Nightclub [Casino Niagara Fallsview Resort]
Definately one of the nicest venues, this is my Tuesday Night Residency.. Guests have included LMFAO, Steve Aoki, DJ AM, Sander Kleinberg, etc.

Wednesday - August 5 - Wednesday August 12 - Vacation
