Big ups to Drake.. dropping 2 videos within 2 days. Major movements!
Huge track.. Directed by Hype Williams.
One of my personal favourite cuts off the ‘So Far Gone’ project.. Very happy to see this being pushed as a single, and the video came out real clean too.

UPDATE: Okay, so upon further review, this might not be the wrong version after all. Settle for the tag less version below and look out the (re)mastered/CDQ by tomorrow night. That is all.
Drake feat. Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem - Forever (prod. Boi-1da)
That single artwork is indeed a Nahright exclusive, so act accordingly folks. Song is hitting iTunes on Friday though. Drake is staying on the hook too.

Not what I expected for this record, but it’s pretty funny. Still thought Kanye could have done a better job, but it’s grown on me. Thoughts?

Well, the wait is over: After weeks of speculation, Drake has chosen to go with the home team and sign with Lil Wayne’s Young Money Records, according to a source close to the situation. The deal breaks down as a joint venture between Young Money and Cash Money, with Universal Republic distributing. Drake’s management was adamant that he should be viewed as an independent artist, although Universal will distribute the project.
“Today is a definitely a comfortable day for me, having my team now that’s been in place for a couple of years. It’s just a great day,” Drake said. “It’s something new, but it feels familiar.”
Drizzy is excited about having a corporate push to help with the momentum he’s gained independently.
“Independent is a funny term,” he told MTV News on the set of his video for “Best I Ever Had.” “I can go independent, but you need distribution, period. You need somebody to distribute your record and you need that army that a label has to really push the record.”
So.. Drake drops another classic mixatpe [So Far Gone]. My hypeman aka Sir Lancelot also happens to DJ, and is real nice on the edits, and often saves me a lot of headache/time by making me custom edits (whether its hip hop, rock, r&b, house, electro, country, etc - he’ll smash it). He edited Drake’s entire So Far Gone tape - clean and dirty so you radio DJ’s can run joints you never did before. Don’t say we don’t hold you down - it’s all about the DJs!! Lancelot whatup - you killed this one man!

In October 2007, I envisioned a mixtape project that would cross borders from one country to another. From one city to the next, I wanted to ‘Bridge The Gap’ and provide Toronto based artists, producers, labels etc. an outlet and opportunity to shine south of the border.
In December 2007, I put my ideas together and dropped BRIDGING THE GAP VOL. 1 - TORONTO TO NYC
It featured a freestyle by a 19 year old kid named Drake over Jay-Z’s classic, “Dead Presidents”
Listen - “Drake - Dead Presidents Freestyle”
3 years later and dude is in the studio with Jay-Z and even called it himself on the interlude to this freestyle.. All I can say is, congratulations homey.. The world is finally waking up 3 years later.. Get em’ !
